Erin Fromkes is a fine art graduate of the University at SUNY New Paltz, N.Y., and quite possibly the most talented and visionary emerging artist in South Florida.  In spite of the fact that Erin suffers from Lyme disease, which she’s had for years, she manages her extraordinary career as a professional artist quite well. Her paintings, her performances, and even her car have been featured in various exhibitions, artwalks and magazines.

Lake Worth- On Friday November 21, 2014 the Grand Opening of the Rolando Chang Barrero Fine Art Gallery promises to be the biggest event of the season. With the who's who of the South Florida Art Scene in attendance, Gourmet eats and treats, and even a video drone circling the VIP's as they arrive on a custom pink carpet designed by Renda Writer and Billy Hitz.

The RCB Fine Art Gallery promises to bring "Fabulousity"(TM) to Lake Worth, already promoting "Luxury on Lucerne", Rolando how is know as the Boynton Beach Art Scene Maker, now takes on Lake Worth with a little help of his friends. Among them photographer Durga Garcia, artist and designer Amanda Johnson, public artist Carlos Alves, and the Interenationally recognized Russian designed and interior spacial planner, Mila Troytsky the founder of ArtDome International.

 Welcoming the gallery to Lake Worth's Fine Art Row will be Mayor Pam Triolo, at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 7 pm when the festivities begin.

The Gallery is located at 711 Lucerne Avenue, amoung Palm Beach Counties most reputable galleries and arts organizations, of which include the famous Bruce Webber Galleries is just next door. "I believe that art and beauty bring joy and wellbeing to individuals and are essential for a well-balanced life.

I work in both mixed media and photography with influences from Robert Rauschenberg and Maxfield Parish.

Rauschenberg’s influence is apparent in my paintings that incorporate paint, collage, photographic images and artifacts. They evoke a feeling of nostalgia or of imaginary places.

My photographs deal mostly with nature, but nature through an intense filter.  Images are put under a microscope and colors are heightened. There is beauty all around us but how often do we take the time to really see it? Ordinary images are enhanced to create painterly new images that leave the viewer wondering if they are paintings or photographs? Abstract or realistic?" -- I.Adams

“Ilene Adams, is a professional painter who has continued to sharpen her palette and compositional skills while searching out new subject matter inspired by nature. Her recent series of large-scale photographic prints could be mistaken initially for a sharp focus oil painting on canvas. This wondrous selection of water reflections from surrounding natural growth topped off with floating green circles of blooming water lilies is a unique extension of the artist's trained eye.  In some of the photographs we are confronted by a series of dazzling reflective vertically vibrating lines that cut through the tint of the water like a sharp knife through butter. Adams likes to integrate a bit of art history in her work where it's useful. She often pays homage to impressionists like Monet connected at the hip with contemporary sensibilities and a flare for vibrant, almost unnatural color. Her painted compositions that are also inspired from the Everglades often center on a single sculptural form of a tropical bird, perhaps standing on one leg surrounded by a robust textural surface of stencil like repeat patterns.” -- Bruce Helander

"My new work begins with the word that the painting is named for...
I paint the word a few or many times on the blank canvas and then I just start painting --- trying to pay attention to composition without trying to pay attention. I pick the words based on the shapes of the letters and not the word. That also makes it very easy to name them.
This is not a “Where’s Waldo” gimmick. People find out there is a word in there somewhere - the intrigue begins, which is fine with me. Any way to get the experienced or novice art lovers to take a look and enjoy. I think the novice art lover can be intimidated by the “ART WORLD” and I want to change that." -J.Rabidoux

Amanda Johnson is a captivating and sensual artist who is masterful in communicating emotion, divine intervention and life blood in her work through the enchanted use of color and light regardless of the subject matter depicted.

Amanda's creative aptitude flourished from early childhood. She has developed her innate talent into a refined understanding of composition. With her repertoire of work ranging from portraiture to costume design, her formal education focused primarily on painting, yet her love of fashion and self expression led her to a career in film and television production where she was a successful costume designer and makeup artist.

Amanda Johnson is a native of Baltimore where she attended  Baltimore High School for the Arts graduating with honors and a continuing education scholarship. She earned her BFA and Fine Arts diploma from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Boston and the Tufts School. Soon thereafter she majored in Portrait Painting, continuing her education in Museum Studies at the Harvard Extension School. Miss Johnson then traveled to Greece and studied the history of art, further broadening her formal academic foundation.

Amanda currently garners inspiration from the majesty of the ocean and the lovely and quirky nature of Delray Beach, Florida which she now calls home. It is here that she continues her work at her studio in Artists Alley, Delray Beach. Amanda's recent projects include fine art lamps that have been featured in The Baltimore Museum of Art. She also creates a line of luxury fabrics that is quickly gaining the attention of Interior Designers and the garment industry. She is a 2014 award recipient of ASID, Maryland for one of her textile collections. Amanda Johnson's textile collection was created using her original paintings. Taking cue from art history and historical embellishments, each fabric begins as a painting that is worked with gold and silver leaf.  Each fabric was derived from one of her paintings. 

Artist statement: "My subject matter often portrays women: powerful demigods, real life dolls, femme fatales, and mythological figures. Influenced by the Greek Mythology and my own self-reflection, my artworks aim is to transcend time. My art works portray moments of divine intervention, decision making, and the process of my own personal life.

Susan Caplan is a South Florida photographer who is making a name for herself in the South Florida Art Scene.  She works with HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography , as well as being one of the top photographers of musicians in the area.  Her work has appeared in local magazines, and her work  has been published, (The Daily Book of Photography,  Walter Foster Publishing Inc, Hillboro Lighthouse Preservation Society Newletter).  She has had a solo show of her work with musicians at The Barry Gross Gallery, in Fort Lauderdale, FL,  has several images in the permanent collection of The Funky Biscuit, a nightclub in Boca Raton, FL, and her images appear on both CD's issued David Shelley and Bluestone.
