"This is my seventh year participating in the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival. I am proud to be a part of such a revered and world renowned event. Each year I choose to do a piece of my own original art. My reasoning for this is simple; it is fun to redo the piece in a very different medium and surface. Also, it helps to promote me, as the original piece has most likely been seen around the scene. This year I chose painting I did in late 2013 called Ascension. It is a vibrant statement about life and death and the existence of heaven and hell here on earth and in our minds. The piece also serves to raise questions about perseverance, passion and spirit." -Craig McInnis
