Boynton Beach- A solo exhibition of recent works by visual artist Rolando Chang Barrero.
Rolando Chang Barrero takes on a new direction for this exhibition isolating details of the "pajaro" painting he is recognized for.
Void of the usual color and whimsy seen throughout most of his work, he returns to the original "crying eye(s)" which are the highlight of this body of work.
The work, sans color, allows the viewer to contemplate the details of a life long concentration of symbolism that runs throughout his work.
The crying eye(s) become a mirror for the viewer, raising interpretations and
empathic affinities of which lurks just beneath the surface of the image, or in some cases the viewers' own reflection.
This exhibition is in conjunction with the Boynton Beach Art District Art Walk which occurs every 4th Thursday of the month.
